A valuable tool for raising awareness and knowledge of French biodiversity, INPN Espèces allows you to discover, in a simple and fun way, the species of fauna, flora and fungi that surround you, both in mainland France and overseas. But you can also contribute to improving knowledge of French species!

Take photos and share your discoveries with experts using the INPN Espèces mobile app.

In just a few clicks, send your photos of wild species, along with a few details: the date and location of the observation, the group to which the specimen belongs (mammal, bird, plant, etc.), and even the suspected species. You will then receive an identification from the experts on your mobile phone, along with additional information: first sighting in the municipality or department, endangered species, etc.

The sightings are integrated into the INPN, thereby enriching the distribution maps of the species concerned.
